Urbanitae arrives in the Netherlands!

Real estate crowdfunding has a new player in the Netherlands. Urbanitae arrives in Italy with the aim of further expanding access to real estate investment.
We are still a startup, but after six years of existence, we believe that the time has come to travel. We have financed more than 90 developments in Spain, some of them as exclusive as Veredilla or Narvaez. Who knows, maybe one day thousands of investors from all over Europe will finance the completion of a luxury home in the center of Amsterdam.
After obtaining the European license in October 2022, we thought that the Netherlands would be as good a place as any to take our first steps outside Spain. With Urbanitae’s help, now any Dutch saver – or from any country in the European Union – will be able to invest in real estate developments in Italy. From 500 euros, either from the web or the app and, most importantly, with the same level of guarantees as in Spain.
The Urbanitae Success Story
While we acknowledge the speed of our growth, every step has been perfectly timed. Urbanitae was established in 2017, yet our official operating license was not secured until June 2019. Despite this late start, we have quickly become the undeniable frontrunner in Spain’s real estate crowdfunding landscape. Urbanitae now commands over 60% of the market share, and since June 2022, we have definitively eclipsed all other Spanish platforms in terms of total financing volume.
To date, we have played a role in funding more than 1,500 residential properties across Spain. Our portfolio boasts over 90 real estate projects nationwide, made possible by more than 45,000 individual investments. This amounts to a staggering 140 million euros mobilized by thousands of savers who have discovered a powerful way to diversify into real estate without needing a mortgage, achieving returns previously considered unattainable.
Our proven track record includes the complete successful exit of 22 projects. A total of just over 5,500 investors have successfully had their capital returned, along with profits. This represents a distribution of over 18.5 million euros, delivering an impressive average annualized return (IRR) of 17%.
