Urbanitae will take part in a new edition of Simed, the Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition, held from November 13 to 15 at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA). The event will bring together more than 180 companies and organizations from the real estate sector, reaffirming its position as a major meeting point for developers, investors, and professionals in Southern Europe.

This year, Sergio Arana, Urbanitae’s Director of Real Estate, will represent the company in the roundtable discussion “From product to experience: how the premium residential market is evolving,” scheduled for Thursday, November 13, from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. at the Simed Arena. He will be joined by Javier Reguart (Alatus Residential Services), Jesús Rodríguez Maseda (Savills), Roberto Cabrera (Brown Harris Stevens Residential Sales), and Setareh Mohregi (Gilmar Real Estate).

A transforming premium housing market

The premium residential market is undergoing a major transformation. High-end buyers are no longer seeking just a product but living experiences that combine design, location, and services.

During the roundtable, the speakers will analyze how demand is changing, the role of technology and sustainability, and how international investment is reshaping the luxury housing supply in destinations such as the Costa del Sol.

Urbanitae’s participation is especially relevant in this context. The platform has channeled over €190 million in Andalusia, of which more than €160 million correspond to the province of Málaga—one of Spain’s most dynamic residential markets. The prime and luxury housing segment represents a significant share of that investment, with almost €97 million financed in projects in this category.

Málaga, epicenter of Mediterranean real estate

Simed has established itself as a benchmark fair for the real estate market in Southern Europe, combining residential exhibitions with a comprehensive professional program of debates, presentations, and roundtables.

This year’s topics include affordable housing, alternative financing, sustainability, digitalization, and public-private collaboration in access to housing. Within this ecosystem, Urbanitae strengthens its role as a bridge between collective investment and real estate development, enabling thousands of investors to participate in high-level projects through a transparent, digital, and collaborative model.

Investment and development in Andalusia

The Costa del Sol has become one of Europe’s most attractive real estate hubs, driven by the arrival of new international residents and Málaga’s strong economic growth. The province has experienced sustained demand for housing, thanks to its connectivity, climate, quality of life, and thriving tech and business ecosystem.

Urbanitae has accompanied this growth from two complementary perspectives: as a financial partner for developers and as a facilitator of investment opportunities for individuals and institutions. In recent years, it has financed multi-family housing, luxury developments, and tourism projects, reflecting the strength and diversity of the Málaga market.

Driving innovation and sustainable growth

Urbanitae’s participation in Simed 2025 reaffirms its commitment to the development of a more innovative, sustainable, and accessible real estate market. In an environment where financing and investment are key to maintaining growth, the platform continues to consolidate its position as a leader in alternative real estate financing, combining equity and debt to provide flexible, tailored solutions for developers.

As Sergio Arana highlights, “The key to the new premium real estate market lies in understanding housing not just as a product, but as an experience. Buyers seek spaces that adapt to their lifestyles, with a value proposition that unites design, technology, and environment.”

Simed 2025 will once again be the meeting point where professionals and investors discuss the future of the sector, and where Urbanitae will share its vision on the evolution of real estate investment and the growing role of alternative financing in the premium residential market.
